Every dog deserves a little adventure…
Whether you are working from home or headed back into the office, your dog needs a healthy outlet for their energy! By signing up for our adventure walks, your dog’s human hiking buddies will help them build confidence in a fun and safe way, using Oak Ridge’s beautiful greenways and trails to provide exploration and socialization. Each walker is trained in trail and car safety, dog body language, and are pet First Aid and CPR Certified. We will transport your dog—and some friends—to an appropriate walking trail for their adventure!
You will be sent pictures, videos, notes, potty notifications, and a GPS map of the walk through our app.
The Houndry will always put the safety of its furry clients first, and therefore reserves the right to decline social walks if deemed necessary. You can also request a solo walk if that is your preference.

Types of walks we offer:
Short Social Walk
$155 for a 5 walk pass/20 minute walk
$258 for a 10 walk pass/20 minute walk
Long Social Walk
$245 for a 5 walk pass/40 minute walk
$412 for a 10 walk pass/40 minute walk
Extra Long Walk
$60 for an hour walk
Half-day Hike
$80 per hike
Reserved only for established and social dog-walking clients. We need to have walked with them at least four times before they can do the half-day hike.

A meet and greet will familiarize your dog to us entering your home.

Our Mission
We endeavor to treat each of our dog clients with the same love and respect you would expect from a family member. We will always be transparent and provide you the latest information regarding any behavior or health issues with your pup. We ensure that we will respect you and your personal property at all times. We will keep your pup away from unsafe environments or stressful situations. We aim to create peace of mind by ensuring that all dogs are being cared for with the exceptional and individualized attention that they deserve. We will use only positive reinforcement to encourage safe leash-walking behavior and impulse control.
There may be an additional charge of $5-10 per trip for travel from outside the Oak Ridge limits depending on our availability.
